in Jebel Ouenat	TASKS AND OBJECTIVES The preservation of cultures in the deserts of Africa is the most important objective of the Jutta Vogel Stiftung (Foundation) founded by Jutta Vogel. The foundation sees its task as contributing to raising awareness of the cultural heritage of Africa’s deserts and to protect and preserve this heritage. The following are some of the ways in which the objectives of the foundation are implemented: - support for measures to protect cultures and landscapes - research projects on the history of cultures and landscapes - preservation and expert conservation of monuments and prehistoric sites - scholarly documentation and publications in the deserts of Africa.
